REEVES VERTICAL TWIN CYL. REVERSING STEAM ENGINE

A WELL-CONSTRUCTED REEVES VERTICAL TWIN CYLINDER REVERSING STEAM ENGINE, with twin vertical cylinders each of approximately 2" bore x 4" stroke, cylinder side-mounted valve chests, main steam inlet manifold, main exhaust manifold, detailed removable cylinder heads, the cylinders each with upper and lower condensate valves, twin tunnel type crosshead guides, with heavy crosshead brass cylinder valve chest packing glands, crosshead oilers, lever-operated Stephenson reversing linkage, with brass eccentric rods, twin quadrants and links. Other details include twin 6" diameter crankshaft-mounted V-belt pulleys, twin pedestal-mounted main bearings each with brass oil cup, tapered connecting rods to crank disc pins each with groove for belt drive, rod frame construction with four 1 1/2" diameter by 16" solid rods, all mounted on a heavy cast 14 1/2" x 9" base. This engine is in perfect running order and in excellent condition. Dimensions: overall height - 27"; length - 14"; width (including reversing lever quadrant) - 16"; width between pillars - 6".
