Description:Albumen cabinet photo on Taber mount, advertisement on rear. Approx. 6½x4¼. Identified in a later hand on rear as Mr. W.C. Bartlett. William Chauncey Bartlett was, at one time, editor of the San Francisco Bulletin and later the Overland Monthly, he was also the author of at least one book "A Breeze From the Woods" (1880).
