Signed Tall Antique Japanese Geese Design Vase. Made by Taizan Yohei IX. The signature reads: "Dai Nihon Taizan Sei," "Made by Taizan in Great Japan." Taizan closed the family's studio in 1894, following the display of his exhibition pieces in the Japanes pavilion in the Columbian Exposition, Chicago, 1893. The vase has age hairline cracks.Size is 14-1/2"tall x 3-1/2"wide.
