Aug Moreau, patinated bronze figure, titled 'Aurore, par Aug Moreau, Medaille Dor a l'exposition.', depicting a girl with off-the-shoulder gown with one hand held high, the other at waist height with robe flowing in the wind, signed, 82cm high Note: Moreau, Louis Auguste 1855-1919, born in Paris on April 21st, 1855. Exhibited at the salon winning a third class medal in 1877 and a bronze medal at the Exposition Universelle of 1900. Specialised in allegorical and classical groups, statuettes of historical personalities and busts. Died October 18th 1919.
