Gordon Woods Balsa Gun 10'6" (10) 1961 - This is an amazing find. The sister board to one made for Australian big wave rider Nipper Williams, which he brought to the North Shore in the winter of 1961. Master shaper Wal Edmonds (who taught Midget Farrelly and Nat Young how to shape) crafted this beautiful balsa elephant gun with redwood stringers and wood nose and tail blocks and unique keel gun fin. The board disappeared for over fourty years and only recently was found in perfect unridden condition! A true piece of Aussie history made for Hawaii.
