Surfboards Hawaii shaped by Charlie Galanto 9'4" (10) 1970 - In 1970 the former Honolulu Greg Noll shop changed over to Surfboards Hawaii and the in-house shapers were Ben Aipa and Charlie Galanto. This was a custom made board for a heavy weight surfer and as such was 4'' thick. The board was paddled once and put away for the last thirty-seven years! It looks as new as when it was made, with orange rails and purple pin lines, set up with the Fins Unlimited Vari-set fin system. Incredible condition for it's age and despite the 70's design, it could be surfed today!
