Waikiki Surf Club-Makaha International Programs and Posters  lot of 20 - For over twenty years, the Waikiki Surf Club hosted the Makaha International Surfing Championships.  In it's day it was the defacto "World Championship" and drew competitors from around the world.  Here in one set is twenty years worth of event programs, from 1954 thru to 1974.  These were considered the grand daddy of the modern surf magazine, as they featured stories, photos and contest information, long before the advent of the first magazines.  Besides the various year programs, a super rare 1961 promotional poster of the event is available along with the 1962 version, as well as the rare event decal.
