Redwood Alaia board 5'0" circa 1895 - A truly historical piece of Hawaiian surf craft. Dated from 1895 this small Alaia style board has some unique characteristics. Beveled rails on the bottom and fitted with an inlaid copper nose "skid plate" and tail band with brass screws. This was so the board could be ridden up onto the sand and the finish of the wood protected. All original, untouched.
