German WWI Military Sword with scabbard and tassel. Lion head pommel. As found condition. The scabbard is overall covered with a light rust / corrosion. Blade is a dull grey color with an irregular water like pattern which is original to the manufacture of the blade. It is marked Eisenhauer Damaststahl. There are areas of light rust on the blade. The leather is brittle and worn on the tassels. The gilding is well worn on the handle. 39" long.
