Late in his career, the artist best-known for his Pop Art paintings of Campbell's soup cans turned his cutting edge brush to the company's boxed soups. Soup box copied down to finest detail, including U.S. Department of Agriculture ''Inspected'' stamp and ingredients on side of box with Warhol signature color highlights. Print was created just two years before the artist's sudden 1987 death following routine gall bladder surgery. Print measures 22.5'' x 30.5''. Fine condition.
