Includes two letters on Cook's Texas Eagle Co. letterheads and other correspondence from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Tom's River, New Jersey, and Buffalo, New York. All addressed to author and editor T. Everett Harré discussing the writing efforts of both men and with several mentions of the controversy regarding Cook's claim of reaching the North Pole. Also included are 2 typed letters, signed, from Cook Arctic Club President, Ralph Shainwald-von Ahlefeldt to Harré, including one on club letterhead. A copy of Howard Abramson's 'Hero in Disgrace', which discusses the Cook-Harré relationship on pp 172-176 is also included.
