Late 19th Century model of the windjammer "Ella". Painted copper below the waterline, black above with a red boot stripe. The scribed wood deck carries cabins, hatches, anchors, winch, binnacle, water buckets, lifeboats etc…There are fine trail boards with vessel name at bow and a carved eagle figurehead. Set onto an incised wooden cradle and into an inlaid mahogany display case with table stand. Dimensions 40"L x 17" W x 60"H. Late 19th Century. Condition - very good.
