Exceptional model of the Schooner Yacht "America", namesake of the "America's Cup." The hull is copper sheathed below the waterline painted black above. The planked deck carries cockpit with floorboards and benches, companionway, hatches, skylight, etc. The raked masts are fitted with a full suit of finely stitched linen sails. Mounted into a glass and mahogany display case with marquetry inlay and custom table stand. Dimensions: 41L x 13W x 62 1/2H. Condition: excellent. Late 20th Century.
