Exceptional four-foot model of the America's Cup Challenger Yacht "Britannia". The hull is painted black above the waterline and gold below with a white boot stripe. The planked basswood deck carries winches, skylights, anchors, companionway, tiller etc. The model is gaff rigged with spars for a flying club sail as she was rigged for her participation in the America's Cup Races in 1899. Dimensions 49"long x 6" wide x 49" high . Late 20th Century. Condition: excellent.
