Scale model of the gaff-rigged sloop "Shenandoah". Carved hull is copper sheathed below the waterline and painted black above. The planked mahogany deck has companionways hatch, brass pump and anchor windlass. Four carronades hang from the rail. Rigged with a suit of five finely stitched sails. Condition: good. Dimensions: 42L x 8W x 37H. Late 20th Century.
