Exceptional model of the private steam yacht "Harvard". "Harvard" was built at Bath Iron Works in 1896. Owned by George Baker, Harvard was a steam yacht of the Golden age. Details include a planked deck, mahogany deckhouses with raised panels, skylights with brass bars. Six launches hang from davits. Hull is painted deep red below the waterline and ivory above with a gold bootstripe. Fitted into a freestanding inlaid mahogany display case with custom table stand. Dimensions 66 x 21 x 67. Condition: excellent. Late 20th Century.
