Exceptionall planked model of the American Frigate "USS Constitution", Old Ironsides". Plank on frame hull is copper-sheathed from the waterline down. Deck details include cannon on carriages, pumps, long boat, gratings, stove pipe, rope coils, powder casks, etc. Mounted in a freestanding mahogany display case with inlaid satinwood marquetry base including intricately fanned corners and custom table stand. Dimensions: 46"L x 19"W x 63"H Condition: excellent. Late 20th Century.
