Fine detailed model of the Revolutionary topsail sloop of war "Eagle". Finely detailed with planked deck which includes a brass gun on swivel, pumps, cabin, hatches, stovepipe, anchors, kegs, tiller, railings, belaying pin rails etc. Rigged with a suit of seven finely stitched linen sails. Hull is copper sheathed below the waterline and painted black above with a varnish mahogany strake. Dimensions 36"L x 8"W x 32" H. Late 20th Century. Condition: very good.
