Large 19th C. Model of Two-masted Schooner

Large late 19th Century plank on frame two-masted schooner model with a suit of seven sails, well rigged with whipped and served cords, clove hitched shrouds, deadeyes, proper use of chain at bowsprit. With painted wood deck. Hull is painted black above the waterline and rust below. Bowsprit has carved trailboards. Model is identified as the "Diane M." of Newport, Rhode Island. Dimensions 80"L x 14"W x 73"H. Condition: good.
