Large oil on canvas of an America's Cup Race. The American Yacht "Columbia" is shown leading the British Cup Yacht "Shamrock." With two spectator vessels in the background. Both vessels are flying a suit of five sails including jibs and flying clubs. Crew are shown on deck. Mounted into a painted gold frame. Signed lower right W. Joyce. 29 1/2 x 49 1/2 on sight. 37 x 57 overall. Condition: very good. Late 20th Century.
