Early-to-mid 19th Century Naval officer's hat with hinged metal carry case with hasp. Maker's badge J. Gieve, Portsmouth & Devonport. Hat is covered in felt with embroidered ribbon, gold tassels, lined in silk. Condition: shows wear, dents to box. Box is 19" long x 8" tall.
