Details/Condition: Bound in its original full crimson Morocco leather binding with gilt embossing, edge gilt, and raised spine bands, this antique text is a very rare discussion of trout fishing, including recommended tactics, locations and seasons, as well as an overview of the varieties of trout. The volume is illustrated with nine handsome color plates of trout and two maps. This book is numbered No. 48 out of a deluxe edition of 100 and is signed by the author on the limitation notice page. The volume shows beautifully with some external wear, and is solidly bound with bright, unmarked pages and some scattered foxing on the color plates.
