JACK DEMPSEY'S 1927 ROLLS ROYCE TOURING CAR

According to Rolls Royce arhives and two different appraisers this Rolls Royce motor car was delivered to prize fighter Jack Dempsey on August 28 in 1928. It later was sold to Academy Award winning director Victor Fleming. In the following years she was displayed in a mid-west museum and has since been in private collections for the past 50 years. Discovered this spring, she runs like a dream, very smooth and soft. The condition is very good, the red leather upholstery looks to be original, the paint does have areas of flaking and a new paint job is in order. This rare open touring car is Springfield built, # S 95 PM, coach by Walter Murphy.
