English George Wostenholm & Sons Bowie knife with scabbard. Knife with a riveted brass and bone handle, sewn leather and brass scabbard. According to oral family history, there were two men related to Glen Leven who fought for the Confederacy in the Civil War - Thomas B. Wilson and Albert Harris. Condition - tip/point missing from knife and scabbard, otherwise good condition for age. Knife 14 1/2" length. Circa 1850. Glen Leven estate.
