English George Wostenholm & Sons Bowie knife with scabbard. Knife with a riveted brass and bone handle, sewn leather scabbard. Condition - tip/point missing from knife and scabbard, scabbard torn, otherwise good condition for age. According to oral family history, there were two men related to Glen Leven who fought for the Confederacy in the Civil War - Thomas B. Wilson and Albert Harris. It is unknown if this weapon was used by either of these men. Knife 11" length. Circa 1850. Glen Leven estate.
