World War I Army Uniform And Personal Effects, Captain A.W. Harris (physician). Includes World War I Army Uniform, green wool, Captain bars present, other insignia removed, with summer hat, linen with metal eagle, leather visor, marked with label of Nashville clothing store from which it was purchased, picture in wooden frame of Captain Harris in uniform. Also includes Army travel trunk marked for Capt. A.W. Harris, unused puttees, and two garrison hats by association (possibly later vintage). Additional items - burlap sewing pouch (oxidized safety pins, strawberry pincushion, spool of thread, brass thimble, envelope wrapped in wool), metal "First Aid Packet U.S. Army Contract Nov. 2 1916." (complete and never opened), hat cord, broken cord with metal clip, empty leather knife pouch, 2 metal dog tags: "Albert W. Harris, Capt. Hosp. Unit S, N.A.U.S.", Buckeyes. Overall very good condition. Circa 1914. Glen Leven estate.
