Classical mahogany pier table with ogee frieze with molded edge. Mirrored back flanked by two s-scroll elements with mirrored lower sections. Base with concave enclosed stretcher and c-scroll feet. Provenance - according to Susan West's notes, believed to have come from the estate of her mother's first cousins, Conn Overton Ball Thompson and John Thompson. Condition - top probably an old replacement, small round side mirrors are broken out but retained, wood mirror backing broken on one side, top stained and faded, some mid-molding missing at base of frieze. Some veneer loss, chips, and scratches overall. 43 ½" width x 21" depth x 37 ½" height. Circa 1850. Glen Leven estate.
