Tennessee two tier folk art sewing box, signed on side of drawer, "E. P. Wilson, Nashville Tenn". Consisting of square two tier sewing box with turnip finials, lift top compartment having a round pincushion pull, lower section with drawer, resting on turned feet, ivory grommets on three sides of second tier. Provenance - descended in Susan West's family, probably belonging to Eliza Pitts Black Wilson. Condition - very good condition for age, stress crack, finial repair, drawer pull partially broken. 7" x 6" x 5 1/2". Included with the lot is a sewing accessory. Mid 19th century. Glen Leven estate.
