Early wallpaper covered box with slight dome shape hinged top, dovetailed construction, covered in pale blue ground wallpaper, possibly stenciled, with darker blue anthemion design. Cherry or Poplar wood. Southern, probably Middle Tennessee. Condition - significant wear and losses to paper. 7 1/2" height x 19 1/2" width x 9" depth. Second quarter of the 19th century. Glen Leven estate.
