Early 19th century miniature Cherry turned post bed

Southern miniature high post bed, possibly salesman sample. Consisting of a high scalloped head board, bed rails with roman numerals for the slat positions, refined turned posts ending in turned feet, canopy frame. Condition - excellent, four slats missing for bed rails, canopy probably a later replacement. 21" x 14" x 18 1/2". Second quarter of the 19th century.
