Tennessee silver serving spoon by P. Negrin, Nashville

Coin Silver Serving Spoon, marked P. Negrin (Paul Negrin, Nashville) in serrated rectangle with eagle mark (resembles Philadelphia eagle; see McGrew, p. 100). Monogram F.A.H. (Fanny A. Wilson Harris, born Tennessee 1840). Paul Negrin was a silversmith known to have worked in Nashville from at least 1823 to at least 1844 (see Caldwell, p. 135.). Plain downturned handle with pointed fins. Minor dents, minor pitting to bowl, overall good condition. 1.515 oz troy. 9 1/8" length. Glen Leven estate.
