Grouping of English and Scottish silver. 1st item - Scottish silver serving spoon, hallmarks for Edinburgh, sterling. Maker's mark partially obscured, possibly TW/JR. Very good condition, minor pitting. 12" length. Circa 1817-1818. 2nd item - Early silver ladle, probably English, twisted wood or horn handle, silver tip, lower stem and shallow rounded bowl. No maker's mark, monogram "WJS 5". The monogram could possibly refer to the Sanders family, Eliza Pitts Black's mother, who lived in the early 1800s, and was married to a man named Sanders before she married Samuel Pitts Black. Very good condition for age, minor pitting. 8" length. Late 18th/Early 19th century. 3rd item - silver sugar tongs, probably English. Hallmarks include bust and lion, apparent date letter T, maker's mark J. H. (possibly James Heley?), monogram "S. P.". Very good condition. 5 1/2" length. Early 19th century. Glen Leven estate.
