Sterling silver tea and coffee set, Whiting mark, "Sterling 5838", coffee pot marked "2 pints", teapot marked "1 3/4 pints". All pieces monogrammed "H". Consisting of four piece tea and coffee service with sugar and creamer, repousse floral/scroll designs, double C form handles with spurs and volutes, the teapot and coffeepot having ivory insulators. Descended in Susan West's family. Condition - handles on tea and coffee pots slightly loose, overall good condition with minor denting and scratches. Dimensions - ranging from 3 1/2" height to 8" height, 35.27 oz troy total weight. Late 19th century. Glen Leven estate.
