English Silverplate Warming Dome

English silverplate warming dome or meat cover, marked "R L 756" on underside of handle, tip of screw for handle marked "W". Scrolled and graduated bead handle with beaded handle base. Engraved with a leaping lion crest over a monogram. Handle removable. Good condition for age with scattered dents, base rim slightly bent on one side. 14" length x 10 1/2" width x 8 1/2" height. Second quarter of 19th century. Heir of Glen Leven estate.
