Two etchings by A. C. Webb (American, 1862-). 1st etching titled, "Gothic Doorway", signed in plate "Webb / Paris", titled in pencil lower left margin, signed pencil lower right, "A.C. Webb". Condition - light browning to extreme left margin, otherwise very good condition. 5 7/8" X 3 7/8" image, 12 ½" X 9 ¾" BFK Rives paper. 2nd etching titled "The Round Towers, Chateau de Breau" in pencil lower left margin, signed in pencil lower right margin "A.C. Webb" and lower center margin, "Artist Proof". Signed in plate "A. C. Webb 1930." A price of $12.00 is written in extreme lower right hand corner of matte. Condition - light, scattered foxing to margins, otherwise very good. 11 3/8" X 7 3/8" image, 16" X 10 ¾" sheet watermarked "[tri-lobed leaf] Japan". Early 20th century. A.C. Webb was born in Nashville, TN and was a student at the Art Institute of Chicago and Art Students League of New York. Glen Leven estate.
