Grouping of woven hair jewelry and mother of pearl whistles. 1st item - woven hair necklace in tubular form with open braided areas alternating between close weave areas, shell metal and glass clasp. The glass clasp has woven hair under glass. The necklace is in a box labeled "Geo. E. Strong 225 Canal St. New Orleans, LA." Condition - very good condition with one ringlet missing at clasp. 16" length. Circa 1860. 2nd item - black velvet wristlet/bracelet with shell metal gold clasp. Pleated velvet with engraved clasp and woven hair under glass. Very good condition. 6" length. Circa 1860. 3rd item - Pair of whistles, mother of pearl grips with repousse mouthpieces, probably silver. Small pendants on one whistle. The longer whistle is engraved "Albert", probably for Albert W. Harris. Good condition with crimping of mouthpiece and pendants missing on longest whistle. Longest whistle 3 3/4" length, shorter whistle 3 1/8" length. Circa 1850. Glen Leven estate
