Philco Console Radio with three band receiver, AM/Police/Shortwave, 13 tubes. Art Deco style mahogany veneered case with fluted frieze and rounded corner. Marked "Philco Model 40-216 Code 121". Provenance - according to family history, purchased by Susan West's paternal grandfather, Dr. Olin West, probably in the Chicago area in 1940, where he resided at the time. Condition - case in very good condition with minor wear. Inner workings appear original. Cord not found. Functionality not examined. 37" height x 35" width x 14" depth. Circa 1940.
