Fine Pair of American Portraits,
oils on canvas, half-length portraits of a husband and wife. He is wearing a high-collared black suit with blue-green trim and a jewelled button on his shirt. She is wearing a billowy red dress with a lace bow and bonnet. American, ca 1820-1850, in old, possibly original, gilt frames; 12" x 11" (w/o frames), 16" x 15" (w/frames).

Old repair to her, both have small tears not affecting the images, the varnish on both has yellowed; G+.
