Japanned Queen Anne Arm Chair,
mixed woods, with scroll-cut splat, yolk crest, curved seat rails, scroll-cut arms, cabriole legs, and pad feet. Slip seat has later silk damask upholstery. Retains its original japanned decoration, including pagoda, figures, and floral decoration. English, ca 1725-1750; seat height 18", overall height 40".
