Colombia  Banco de la Republica  361; 362; 363    1; 2; 5 Pesos    20.7.1923  THREE NOTES; each with very LOW MATCHING SERIAL NUMBER #0000004!  These remarkable pieces have an interesting story; a woman named Elizabeth Brinkley Williamson, born November 6, 1875, was married to Thomas Russell Lill, who worked for the United States Department of the Treasury.  Lill lived and traveled through South America countries such as Bolivia, Mexico, and Colombia during the 1920s.  Apparently, Lill was enough of a VIP to obtain these treasures.  Each is original and has excellent color with only modest handling.  The 5 Pesos has small spots.  A wonderful collector opportunity.
