(8vo) 7½x4¾, old half morocco and marbled boards, spines lettered and decorated in gilt, all edges marbled. First Dublin Edition with Hogarth's illustrations. Annotations and preface by Zachary Grey. A subscriber's copy, Brinsley Butler, with name in ink on title page of each volume. Dibdin considered Grey's edition 'The best critical edition' of Butler's Hudibras. Strong, clear impressions of the engravings.
