Description: Shoulder headings printed in red. 9¼x6½, original thin vellum, spine lettered in gilt. One of 250 copies. Handsome printing of Shakespeare's sonnets. Tipped to the front free endpaper is a typed description from San Francisco bookseller John J. Newbegin, noting that "This book is one of the rarest books printed by the Doves Press, and because of its subject matter, is very much in demand." Neat inkstamp, "Ex Libris J. Visser, Rotterdam" beneath date on title-page.
