Pristine ˝ plate. This came with a few daguerreotypes by Brady, and the distinguished figure on the right appeared in one of them. It is clearly the work of a masterful studio. NOTE: I WAS SO TAKEN WITH THE BRADY CONNECTION THAT I BLOCKED OUT THAT THIS HAS THE CLEAR STAMP OF ANSON's STUDIO ON THE VELVET PAD.
The standing man could be his son; he also has watch fob. But this is clearly a business or political grouping rather than a family portrait.
