They hold hands, with their softly tinted faces parallel as in the previous image. She holds a large case. This is a bright attractive somewhat moody image. The mother's chain is gilded. They both have sparkling red jewels that poke out from the plate—he on his tie, she at the center of her bow. The 1/6 plate is still sealed to an octagonal mat, in a fine case with rose silk pad, original spine. The plate has an unusual deep clairity. [4]
