Horizontal ¼ plate in passepartout. They place their heads together. The arm at left seems contorted to fit in the frame. Fine tinting and coloration; this looks very fine in this presentation. A period pen inscription on the original board backing reads "John Hills & T. Baker/ about 1850." [4-]
