Possibly this is a veterinarian and his son. The sitting appears to have been made in a traveling van, so beyond the charm and the interest of the subject, this provides a rare glimpse of the interior of those vans that provided rough-hewn portable studios. ¼ plate tintype in a nice full case with original spine intact.
