12" x 9 3/8" gelatin silver print on the original mount, with the original translucent overleaf with spider web pattern. An imprinted label is attached to the bottom of the mount, recto: "Il est faux que l'égalité soit une loi de la nature. La nature n'ait rien fait égal" – Vauvenargues. [It is false to think that equality is a law of nature. Nature hasn't made anything equal.] Signed in white crayon on the print. [4]
