FORREST CARPENTER, EDENMILLS VT ARTHUR ROTHSTEIN.

Vintage 9 7/8" x 7 7/8" gelatin silver print, with typed title on verso, F.S.A. stamp crediting Rothstein, and another stamp dating this June 22, 1941, with other pencil marks and notations, plus a strip from a magazine illustration (made from the print) titled "New England village, by Arthur Rothstein." Clearly a well-handled print, but that gives it character, like the subject. True vintage FSA prints are scarce. [2]
