. "AFTER THE WAR" BY DAN WEINER, SIGNED SANDRA

14" x 11" gelatin silver print. This photograph of a flower vender on a NYC street was made by Weiner in the 1940's as part of his work for the Photo League. This later print (late 1980's?) is signed by his wife the photographer Sandra Weiner on the verso. I first thought it was by Sandra, but learned (thanks to Alex Novak) that it is by Dan. [3] FLASH: An identical print to this sold at Christie's sale of Photographs on September 7th, Lot 388, for $2500.
