Artist Statement and Biography: My design has a historical theme. I used advertisements and newspaper headlines from the era of the Packard. At the base I used color photographs of Packard cars. Both wings have photographs of the National Packard Museum. Her body is the color of aged copper metal and the overall design is a retrospect of the Packard automobile and its history.

 

Beky Davis grew up in Niles, Ohio, and currently resides in Austintown with her husband, Bill. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a BFA with a concentration in graphic design and print making and a minor in advertising. Beky is the Project Manager at the Tribune Chronicle Special Projects Department.

The statue measurements are approximately 6 feet tall by 8 feet, 6 inches long. These are works of art and some statues are meant to be displayed out of the elements.
